Accredited (NSW) Workplace OH&S Consultation Training

The new Occupational & Health and Safety Regulations in New South Wales came into force on 1 September 2001.  The Occupational Health and Safety Consultation training course has been developed by the New South Wales WorkCover Authority to meets the requirements of this regulation to provide training for OH&S committee members and OH&S representatives in New South Wales.  Chris Jones is accredited by WorkCover to conduct this training - Accreditation number 320.

 

OH&S Consultation Course

Duration:

Four Days;  The course may be conducted in units of one day, but must be conducted within a period of two months.

Who For:

All OH&S representatives and OH&S committee members in New South Wales.  There is an optimal maximum of fifteen participants, however the course may be conducted for up to twenty participants.

Purpose:

This course is designed for OHS committee members and OHS representatives.  It aims to familiarize participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply the principles of workplace OHS management system (OHSMS).  The course should also assist in the development of appropriate attitudes to enable OHS committee members and OHS representatives to effectively carry out their functions under OHS legislation.  (from the Course Administration section of the trainers guide to the course.)
