Ordering

All pieces available in the online store are purchased outright at the listed price. Payment is processed securely at checkout via Stripe.

For custom or bespoke orders, Chris will provide a written quote outlining the scope, materials, and total cost. A deposit of 50% is required to confirm the order and commence production. The remaining balance is due prior to delivery.

Please choose carefully. Chris Jones Furniture does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect choice. Customers are responsible for ensuring their chosen piece is suitable for their space, including measurements and access.

Please note that as a natural material, reclaimed hardwood will always carry some variation in colour, grain, and character. This is not a defect — it is part of what makes each piece unique.

Production

Lead time for all furniture is approximately 6 to 8 weeks from order confirmation. This may vary depending on the complexity of the piece and material availability. Chris will keep you informed of any significant changes to your timeline.

Warranty

All Chris Jones furniture is covered by a 5 year warranty against structural defects in materials and workmanship. Cushions and upholstery are covered by a 5 year warranty for workmanship.

Delivery

Local delivery to Torquay and surrounding areas is handled directly by Chris Jones. Delivery to the wider Surf Coast, Melbourne, and beyond is fulfilled via a third-party courier service.

Freight costs do not include transit insurance for accidental damage. Chris Jones Furniture takes care in packaging each piece for transport, but cannot accept responsibility for damage incurred during courier delivery. Any damage should be noted at the time of delivery and reported promptly.

If you have specific delivery requirements, please discuss these at the time of ordering as additional costs may apply.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
